Mohammed Shami recently celebrated his 31st birthday on September 3 and the fans made sure to make his birthday even more special for him. Wishes poured in for the pacer from all the corners of the world as many hailed him as one of the best pacers for India in modern-day cricket.
Among many, India’s young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, who is known for his hilarious sense of humor, also joined the bandwagon but he came up with a hilarious tweet while wishing the pacer. In his Tweet, Pant tried to pull Shami’s leg by reminding him that the latter is fast getting old and with that, the ball is also coming fast out of his hands. He wrote:

The tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with amazing reactions from the fans to it. However, it was the reply from Mohammed Shami that left everyone in splits.
Shami was quick to notice the Tweet and come up with a hilarious reply to it. In his reply, Shami trolled Pant for his weight and wrote that the age can’t be stopped but weight can definitely be controlled. He wrote:

Meanwhile, a section of Indian fans present at The Oval was seen chanting the name of the pacer on his birthday. Infact, one of the fans was seen wearing a Tshirt with ‘Happy Birthday Shami’ written on it. He requested Shami to cut the cake on his birthday and Shami happily agreed to celebrate his birthday with his fans
