MS Dhoni and his men returned to action on Wednesday night when they took on the Delhi Capitals in game number 55 in the ongoing 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League. Chennai Super Kings are currently sitting at the 2nd position in the points table, with 6 wins off 11 games.
MS Dhoni Almost Slapped Deepak Chahar
As the game started, MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bat first at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, however, an interesting incident took place right after the toss.
As Dhoni walked back following the toss, he chanced upon his fellow teammate Deepak Chahar and almost slapped him. In the video, it looks like the CSK bowler said something to Dhoni and the latter proceeded to playfully hit Chahar. The video of the incident has been going crazily viral on social media.
Watch the video:
It has to be noted that Deepak Chahar made a return to the playing XI earlier this month post his recovery from injury. He was struggling in the ongoing season, however, he performed brilliantly in the side’s last game against Mumbai Indians. He returned with the figures of 2/18 in three overs, taking the important wickets of Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma. CSK eventually secured a comfortable 6-wicket in the game.
Meanwhile, as the video went viral, fans on social media came up with hilarious reactions to it.
