Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni has knocked on the doors of Ranchi court to take legal action against two former business partners, alleging that they have not fulfilled their contracts.
Dhoni’s lawyer Dayanand Singh has filed complaints against the firm Aarka Sports and Management Limited, headed by Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Vishwash, accusing them of fraud which has led to Dhoni incurring losses of INR 15 crore.
India’s 2011 World Cup-winning captain reportedly had a deal with Diwakar and Vishwash back in 2017 to build a cricket academy in Ranchi. However, the sports and management firm of Diwakar and Vishwash allegedly failed to deliver on the agreement, and this has cost MS Dhoni INR 15 crore.
Frustrated with the poor handling of his dream project, MS Dhoni purportedly revoked the authority letter granted to Aarka Sports in 2021 and issued several legal notices to them, all of which went unresponded.
Dhoni’s lawyer is believed to have said that Aarka Sports “cheated his client, resulting in a financial loss exceeding Rs 15 crore”.
MS Dhoni set to start training for IPL 2024

Dhoni is currently enjoying a vacation with his family and also Rishabh Pant in Dubai. Dhoni and Pant are in Dubai since last month’s IPL 2024 auction.
Dhoni, 42, will kick-start his training and net session to prepare for IPL 2024 season soon. He is on his way to complete recovery from the knee surgery he had last year, immediately after propelling CSK to their fifth IPL title by defeating the Gujarat Titans in a thrilling final in Ahmedabad.
