MS Dhoni

Even though he doesn’t play for 10 months of the year, MS Dhoni continues to remain in the headlines almost every day. Such is the craze of the man from Ranchi among the fans that fans don’t miss a single glimpse of the 42-year-old.

Recently, this week, MS Dhoni was spotted with a ponytail hairstyle, something which he used to don early in his career when he was bursting onto the scene as an international cricketer. During his early years, Dhoni changed the hairstyle of the entire nation, his fearless batting and cool demeanor being something Indian fans had rarely seen in Indian cricketers.

Fans said that MS Dhoni is turning back the clock, taking himself and his fans into the 2007 era when he, and also Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, had this ponytail hairstyle. Now, even at the age of 42, Dhoni looks young, and with his blistering batting in the IPL 2023, he seemed to be aging backward.

Take a glimpse of MS Dhoni’s latest ponytail hairstyle:

Will MS Dhoni play in IPL 2024?

Yes, Dhoni had hinted at the end of the IPL 2023 that he’s not planning on retiring from the IPL at the moment. He even underwent knee surgery soon after propelling CSK to their 5th IPL title, defeating Gujarat Titans in the final this year.

About his return in IPL 2024, Dhoni had said, “The tough thing for me is to work hard for another nine months and come back and play at least one more season of IPL. But a lot depends on the body, I have six-seven months to decide and it will be more like a gift from my side [to the fans]. It’s not easy for me but the way they’ve shown their love and affection, that’s something I need to do for them.”
