Now We Know The Reason Behind Ross Taylor’s ‘Tongue’ Celebration

After failing to his side to the winning side on more than one occasion in the recent T20I series against India, New Zealand’s Ross Taylor turned out to be the highest scorer in the first of three ODI matches against India.
Ross Taylor slammed Virat Kohli led side by 109 not out in 84 balls to see the New Zealanders chasing down the massive target of 348 runs. After hitting his match-winning 21st ODI century, Ross Taylor poked his tongue out to celebrate his 21st ODI century.

Besides his powerful game, it’s his celebration style which is him in the limelight. Fans are very curious about the reason behind his unique celebration. And just like many, Harbhajan Singh also had the same query. Harbhajan Singh took to his question and asked Ross about the same. He wrote:
What a knock @RossLTaylor well done.. tell me why do u put the tongue out every time score 100??? ?good game of cricket #indvsnz”

In one of the interviews with Wide World of Sports, Ross Taylor revealed that there are two reasons behind him sticking out his tongue. Revealing the first reason Taylor revealed:
“Right back when I was at age group I got dropped a couple of times when I got hundreds,” 
He added:
 “Then I poked my tongue out – (after) I got dropped – against Australia, my second ODI hundred.”
Revealing the second reason, Ross Taylor said his daughter feels pretty happy whenever he poked out his tongue and he dedicated his tongue-out celebration to her as well. Not just his daughter, Ross Taylor also shared a picture of his son Jonty posing for a photograph with his tongue poked out. Sharing the picture, Ross wrote:
