Rahul Dravid Makes A Big Statement On Virat Kohli’s 71st Hundred

Indian cricket fans and Virat Kohli fans across the world have been waiting desperately for Virat Kohli to break the deadlock and score his 71st international hundred. Kohli is one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the game but he hasn’t been able to tick the three-figure mark in international cricket in more than two years.

Team India is presently in South Africa and hoping to win their first ever Test series in the Rainbow nation, after an emphatic win in the first match of the series. Virat Kohli led his team well and registered a historic win at the Centurion, on the back of a brilliant hundred by KL Rahul and an unforgettable performance by Mohammed Shami.

But, individually, Virat Kohli failed to convert his start into a big hundred and left the fans waiting for his 71st International hundred. It’s been more than 2 years now that Virat Kohli has had a hundred-less run in international cricket.

India’s head coach and one of the greatest batters in cricket’s history, Rahul Dravid was recently asked about Kohli’s inability to break the deadlock and score a hundred, and he gave a very optimistic reply.

Talking to the media before the second Test match of IND vs SA Test series, Rahul Dravid said that he is not worried about Indian captain’s form and the big runs will come soon. Dravid also added that Virat Kohli has been really involved and practising with a lot of intensity.

“The big hundreds or runs from Virat Kohli will come soon, he is really involved and practising so hard,” said Dravid.

Dravid also spoke about Virat Kohli’s captaincy and said that he is a fantastic leader for his team, on and off the field.

“Virat Kohli has been a fantastic leader to this team on & off the field – it’s great to work with him,” he added.
