Indian legend Anil Kumble said he was blessed to be part of this divine event.
Speaking with ANI, Anil Kumble said, “It is a wonderful occasion, a very divine occasion. Blessed to be a part of this. It’s very historic. Looking forward to seeking blessings from Ram Lalla. We’ll continue to come to Ayodhya but to be a part of this occasion in itself is a wonderful feeling, and we’re blessed.”
After being rested from the T20I series against Afghanistan, Ravindra Jadeja will make his return in the upcoming 5-Test series against England at home. Jadeja had missed the 2021 home series against Three Lions due to injury, in which Axar Patel made his debut and wreaked havoc over the opposition.
Now, with Jadeja, Ashwin, and Axar, along with Kuldeep Yadav, forming India’s spin attack, the hosts are confident of extending their winning streak at home. India have won their last 16 Test series at home, the last defeat coming in 2012.
