The star Indian opener and vice-captain, Rohit Sharma stole the show with the bat as team India defeated Afghanistan to register their maiden win of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 tournament.

Rohit Sharma, who was going through a tough phase with the bat, had failed to live up to the expectations of the fans in the first two games of India in the ongoing tournament, scoring only 0 and 14 runs in games against Pakistan and New Zealand, respectively.
