Vikrant Gupta Gave A Fitting Reply To A Pakistani Cricket Fan: The Indian cricket team thrashed the Afghanistan team by a margin of 66 runs to register their maiden win of the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup. The Men in Blue gave a complete team performance and also racked up the highest total in the ongoing tournament so far.

However, following India’s win over Afghanistan, some jealous Pakistan fans started a fake trend on social media, where they claimed that the match between India and Afghanistan was fixed. A Tweet with similar content has been going viral on the micro-blogging site.

“India can still reach in semifinals if they send fake emails and New Zealand leaves UAE due to security issues.”

Infact, Pakistani Minister Ch Fawad Hussain also tweeted the same post on his official Twitter handle. Here, check out his Tweet:

The tweet didn’t go down well with the Indian fans, who are now giving it back to the Pakistani trolls. Among many, the Managing editor of Sports Tak / Aaj Tak – Mr. Vikrant Gupta took to his Twitter and gave a mouth-shutting reply to the troll.

In his Tweet, Vikrant Gupta asserted how Indian cricket won’t collapse if India doesn’t make it to the semis. He highlighted how India has defeated Australia in Australia and England in England. He also slammed the troll on participating in the fake Twitter trend. He wrote:

“Don’t worry even if India doesn’t make semis. Our cricket won’t collapse. India did beat Australia in Australia and England in England. I don’t know about emails but do know now how fake Twitter trends are being pushed. And by whom – Happy Diwali BTW”
