With the much-awaited Asia Cup 2023 just around the corner, Indian captain Rohit Sharma and his family visited the Tirupati Balaji temple in Andhra Pradesh to take blessings of the almighty ahead of the marquee tournament. The Asia Cup 2023 is all set to start on August 30, with the hosts Pakistan taking on Nepal in the season opener.

Ahead of the tournament, the Indian captain visited the city of Tirupati with his wife Ritika Sajdeh, and daughter Samaira Sharma. Videos and images of Rohit and his family’s visit to the Balaji temple in Tirupathi have gone viral on the internet. In the viral video, Rohit Sharma can be seen graciously acknowledging the gathered crowd as he waves to them from the temple premises.

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma, a seasoned player and key figure in the team, is currently on a well-deserved break from the ongoing T20Is against the West Indies. During the break, Rohit has been maintaining his fitness through rigorous gym sessions. He has been sharing his workout videos with his fans via his official Instagram account.

Recently, Rohit Sharma took to his Instagram and shared a video from his gym session, giving his fans a glimpse of his intense workout. The Indian captain performed various exercises.

Notably, the Asia Cup 2023 will play a big role in preparation for the upcoming ICC ODI World Cup 2023, which will kickstart on October 5th. Rohit Sharma will take on the role of captain for the first time in this mega event, talking about it at a recent event, Rohit Sharma said:

“Honestly, I have never won a (50 overs) World Cup, it’s a dream to win a World Cup and to be here fighting for it nothing makes me happier than that. You don’t get World Cups on a platter, you have to really work hard and that is what we have been doing all these years from 2011 till now we all are fighting for it,”
