Indian pacer and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star bowler, Sandeep Sharma shared a hard-hitting note after a controversy erupted following pop sensation Rihanna and other international celebrities tweeted in support of the ongoing farmers’ protest.
Rihanna’s tweet brought global attention to the farmer’s protest in India, which has been going on for months now. However, a day after Rihana and Greta tweeted, the Indian cricket fraternity and celebrities erupted the social media and urged the citizens of India to have faith in the Indian government and its laws.
Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar led the ‘India against propaganda’ drive-by leading the call for unity among the citizens of the country. He took to his Twitter and urged the citizens to shift their focus on the efforts being made by the government of India and opined that external forces can be spectators but not participants. He wrote:
India’s sovereignty cannot be compromised. External forces can be spectators but not participants. Indians know India and should decide for India. Let’s remain united as a nation,”

Post Sachin’s tweet, several former and present Indian cricketers including the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, and many others, took to their social media and expressed their solidarity with the batting maestro.
However, Sandeep Sharma, who has been an integral part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League, questioned the logic behind the criticism of Rihanna and other international celebrities who have come out in support of the farmers’ protest.
Sandeep took to his social media and backed Rihanna and other international celebs and shared a lengthy note which spoke at length about the ongoing farmer crisis in India. Sharing the note, Sandeep captioned:
“By this logic no one should care about each other because every situation is someone’s internal affair”
