India’s star all-rounder Shardul Thakur took a hilarious dig at India teammates and Mumbai seniors Rohit Sharma and Test specialist Ajinkya Rahane. Coming from the same city – Mumbai, Shardul shares a very cordial relationship with Rohit and Rahane.
Recently, he took to his social media and shared a throwback picture of himself with Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane. While the pacer was standing in the middle, the other two players stood to his right and left respectively. The picture is from India’s tour of England from last year. Sharing the picture, Shardul took a cheeky dig at both the senior players. He wrote:
“Having bodyguards is just a part of being famous I think.”

The image went viral in no time and was flooded with reactions from netizens to this. Several cricketers also joined the bandwagon and reacted to the image. Indian bowler Yuzvendra Chahal, who is known for his hilarious sense of humor, also trolled Rahane and Rohit with a hilarious comment. He wrote:

“
Indian Test specialist Ajinkya Rahane also took to the comment section and trolled back Shardul. He wrote: “Just walking you out of the dressing room. 
”
Meanwhile, after playing an instrumental role in the success of Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 and 2021 editions, Shardul Thakur will be looking forward to making an impact for the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022, which will kickstart from March 26.
