Rohit Sharma will be featuring in Mumbai India’s squad as a batter this year as the captaincy was handed over to Hardik Pandya ahead of the season. Despite things being thrown around casually, the situation has somewhat erupted out of control with Mark Boucher’s explosive remarks. With that being said, another question is doing the rounds too which says should Rohit actually walk out of the show?
There is a certain reason to believe that Rohit may actually do that, particularly considering the fact that Ritika Sajdeh has now taken to the limelight with her straightforward comment. She has made it clear as daylight that Boucher’s remarks make no sense whatsoever. In fact, the statement was wrong at several levels.
Quickly jogging everyone’s memories, Boucher said, “One thing I did pick up with Ro (Rohit) is that he is a fantastic guy. I mean he’s been captaining for ages and he’s done really well for Mumbai Indians and for India as well. He walks into a place and there’s just cameras in it and he’s so busy and he hasn’t had probably the best couple of seasons of late with the bat but he’s done well as a captain.”
He further added, “And I just thought you know when we’re speaking with the whole Mumbai Indians group, we thought that maybe this is the opportunity for him to step in for his last year or so. We believe he’s got some great value to add and just go out there and actually enjoy it without the hype of being a captain. He is still going to captain India so that hype’s gonna be there but when he steps into the IPL maybe just taking that extra bit of pressure off him as a captain and maybe we get the best out of Rohit Sharma.”
JUST IN 🚨 : Rohit Sharma is going to sign the biggest IPL contract after this test series. He’s leaving Mumbai Indians.

Now let’s take one point at a time from the aforementioned statements. He hasn’t had the best couple of seasons with the bat? Boucher where’s your head at? Rohit does exceptionally well with the bat and just in case if you do not what he has done of late, he has a century against Afghanistan in the shortest format of the game while blasting knocks of 47, 47 and 61 in the last three games of the World Cup.
What did Boucher even mean by the last year or so for Rohit? That is Rohit Sharma. He decides to call when it is going to be the last season. Also, enjoy without the burden of being a captain? Rohit does that anyway. Rohit loves to bat. Rohit loves to captain the side. It’s as if he knows exactly what he is doing and Boucher feels otherwise? Strange.
He has never been fazed with captaincy whether in IPL or for Team India. He is always enjoying it on the pitch. Well it seems that Ritika got mark fazed and maybe and just maybe, this can very well be a cue for Rohit to walk out of the Mumbai Indians.
