Smriti Mandhana, the captain and batswoman for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, was spotted bowling for the first time in the competition during the final game, which was a surprising development.
While comments about how the Royal Challengers Bangalore-Women captain was bowling resembled the former Royal Challengers Bangalore men’s team leader Kohli, fans could not contain their excitement on social media.
As she bowled against the Mumbai Indians in the 17th over, she let up nine runs in three deliveries. On social media, a video of Mandhana bowling remarkably like Kohli went viral.
