Sreesanth Gets Legal Notice From LLC Officer; Asked To Delete Insta Videos

Former India pacer S Sreesanth has once again landed in hot water as the Legends League Cricket (LLC) commissioner has reportedly issued him a legal notice and asked him to delete his Insta videos in which he disparaged Gautam Gambhir following the duo tussle.

Times Of India has reported that the LLC commissioner has laid charges on him for a “breach of contract” by posting videos of his scathing remarks and opinions on Gautam Gambhir.

Sreesanth and Gambhir were involved in a heated altercation during their encounter on Wednesday in Surat.

LLS issued a legal notice to Sreesanth over “fixer” row with Gautam Gambhir

On Wednesday night, from the stadium, Sreesanth posted an Insta video talking about the situation and his conversation with Gambhir. Then on Thursday morning, the fast bowler went on Insta Live to allege that Gambhir called him a “fixer” and used the F-word. Again, on Thursday evening, Sreesanth ranted in a huge paragraph under Gambhir’s latest Instagram picture, starting with a sentence saying that Gambhir “exceeded the boundaries of a sportsman and a brother”.

On Friday, the LLC posted a statement.

“We are underway the process as per the Contractual obligations of players and as per the Code of Conduct policy of the league,” says Raman Raheja, co-owner and CEO, Legends League Cricket..

TOI said that the legal notice was served to the pacer on the evening of December 6, adding that an investigation will be launched, and it has asked him to remove the videos attacking Gambhir.

Sreesanth commented on Gambhir’s Instagram post:

“You have exceeded the boundaries of a sportsman and a brother, and above all, you represent the people. Yet, you continue to engage in conflicts with every cricketer. What is the matter with you? All I did was smile and observe, and you labeled me a fixer? Seriously? Are you above the Supreme Court? You have no authority to speak in such a manner and say whatever you please.

“You even verbally abused the umpires, and yet you speak of smiling? You are an arrogant and utterly classless individual who lacks any form of respect for those who supported you. Until yesterday, I always held respect for you and your family. However, you used the derogatory term “fixer” not just once, but seven or eight times. You even resorted to using the F-word towards the umpires and myself, persistently trying to provoke me.”
