Broadcaster Star Sports is set to wind back the clock for the fans as they have roped in Navjot Singh Sidhu in their star-studded commentary panel for the IPL 2024 season.
Star Sports confirmed this news on Tuesday morning and sent the fans on a ride of excitement and eagerness.
The IPL 2024 season will get underway on March 22 with MS Dhoni’s CSK hosting RCB at Chepauk.
Navjot Singh Sidhu, a former India blockbuster batsman, is one of the most voices cricket has had in the 90s, 2000s, and early 2010s. Some of his famous and witty one-liners are in the folklore and fans still have good recollection of it. Sidhu has his way with humorous commentator and brings the fun to the game. But once he entered politics, Navjot Singh Sidhu gradually moved away from cricket commentary.
Now, the 60-year-old is back and fans can’t wait to listen to his epic commentary once again, not least in the grandest T20 league in the world.
