Former Indian cricketer and world cup hero Suresh Raina hailed Rishabh Pant for his series-winning knock against England on Sunday. Rishabh Pant led the Indian cricket team to a historic series win against England in the series decider 3rd ODI match in Manchester.
Rishabh Pant Played A Terrific Knock
Rishabh Pant continued with his fantastic form in the 3rd ODI as he smashed 125 in 113 balls, hitting 16 fours and two sixes in his innings. This was his maiden century in the ODI format, his previous best score was 85 runs in this format.
Rishabh walked in to bat when the Indian cricket team was reeling at 72-4 after 16.2 overs, after having suffered a top-order collapse, however, Pant stood up for his side when they needed him the most. Pant paced his innings wonderfully, taking time to reach his 50 in 71 balls, and then he switched gears and went crazy. He smashed his last 75 runs in just 42 balls.
During his knock, Pant smashed five boundaries back-to-back, against David Willey in the 42nd over to make it a memorable inning.

Meanwhile, the star cricketer has been receiving praises from all corners for his batting heroics. In another Tweet, he congratulated Team India on their stellar win against England. He also praised Hardik Pandya and Pant for their outstanding partnership. He wrote:
