What is the latest update on Suryakumar Yadav? Will he play or miss IPL 2024?
The good news for the Mumbai Indians fans is that Suryakumar Yadav is no course for recovery from his ankle injury and hernia surgery. However, there is a chance that he could still miss the initial part of the season as he recently underwent hernia surgery in Germany.
SKY had suffered an ankle injury in December in South Africa, but didn’t need surgery for that. However, he reportedly underwent hernia surgery on his groin in January. He missed the DY Patil T20 Cup in Mumbai, in which the likes of Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan have made their comebacks.
Earlier this week, Surykumar Yadav took to his Instagram to clarifyy about his injury rumors.
“Hello everyone, good morning. Hope you all are doing well. Just wanted to clear something up. Bit of a confusion, I guess. For those who aren’t aware, l was operated on for SPORTS HERNIA a few weeks back not for my ankle. The road to recovery is going really well. Thank you, everyone, for all the love and support, see you all soon,” SKY captioned.
