MI Players Troll Naveen-ul-Haq With A Hilarious Post: For the second season in a row, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) bowed out of the IPL with a loss in the Eliminator. Their IPL 2023 campaign came to an end on Wednesday with a loss to the Mumbai Indians (MI) by a big margin of 81 runs in Chennai.
After the loss of LSG, Naveen was trending on social media as fans trolled him with the “Mangoes” jibe. This was in regard to Naveen-ul-Haq’s Instagram stories a few days ago when Virat Kohli got out cheaply and RCB lost the match, following Naveen’s tussle with the RCB star in Lucknow.
Naveen-ul-Haq and “Mangoes” was trending throughout and after the match as fans made some hilarious memes, even while Naveen-ul-Haq performed brilliantly with a four-wicket haul against MI.
It was shocking to see even some Mumbai Indians players later on troll Naveen-ul-Haq.
Yes, three Mumbai players – Sandeep Warrier, Vishnu Vinod and Kumar Kartikeya – trolled Naveen with a post by Sandeep. In the post, the three MI cricketers are sitting around three mangoes on a table. Sandeep captioned the post “Sweet season of mangoes”.
Even LSG pacer and Naveen’s teammate Avesh Khan liked this post.
Here, check out how MI players trolled Naveen-ul-Haq:
I like everyone in the ground chanting his (Virat Kohli) name: Naveen-ul-Haq
In a press conference, Naveen was asked about the crowd changing Kohli’s name when he comes on to bowl or when he’s fielding near the boundary.
Naveen-ul-Haq replied: “I enjoy it. I like everyone in the ground chanting his (Virat Kohli) name or any other player’s name. It gives me passion to play well for my team.”
“…I don’t concentrate on the outside or the noise from outside or anything else. I just focus on my own cricket and my own process. Crowd chanting or anyone saying something doesn’t affect me. As professional sportsmen you have to take this in your stride. One do when you don’t good for your team, fans are going to give it to you. And when you do good for your team, same people are going to chant your name. Basically this is part and parcel of the game,” he added.
