It was a goal fest when Indian cricket stars met the dudes from Bollywood for a ‘Celebrity Clasico’ on 15th October (Sunday). India, as a nation, is crazy about cinema and cricket and the Celebrity Clasico is perfect bend of cricket and Bollywood.
It was a Sunday well spent for the fans as they watched their favourite celebrities from sports and entertainment go at each other in a football game. Celebrity Clasico played B’town’s boys (All Stars FC) against the celebrated sportsmen (All Hearts FC) in a ‘friendly’ match. And the proceeds from the match go to a charity.
However, Indian cricket stars did not take it too friendly as they defeated the Bollywood stars 7-3. In the last year’s game, both celebrities and sports stars ended with the same figure (2-2), but this year, Team India stars completely outplayed the B-town stars.
