Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli and young opener Shubman Gill, both the cricketers have stolen the show with their amazing performances in the ODI format. They look all set to be India’s leading batting pair for the upcoming 2023 ODI World Cup. The duo has scored two tons each, in India’s first four ODI games ever since the start of 2023. This also included an epic 131-run partnership in the 3rd ODI against Sri Lanka.

Kohli’s two back-to-back centuries have broken a lot of records and he is now just three tons behind breaking the all-time record of Sachin Tendulkar of 49 centuries. King Kohli, who is hailed as the run machine of the Indian cricket team, is on the brink of becoming the first player in history to score 50 ODI tons. On the other hand, Gill became the 5th Indian batter to score a double century in the 50-over format in the series opener against New Zealand while being the youngest male player in the world to achieve the milestone.

While both the players are winnings hearts with their on-field performances, they have been stealing all the limelight with their off-field bromance as well. Yes, The duo seem to have formed a great bond and become close friends. A recent Instagram conversation between the duo showed that Kohli gifted Gill a watch:

However, the comment that stole all the attention from the post came from the Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli. The former Indian captain asked Gill about his stunning watch.
