The ongoing second Test match at the iconic Lord’s Stadium is turning out to be a full-on entertainer, however, an unfortunate incident that happened during the game has grabbed everyone’s attention. The Indian star opener, KL Rahul, who smashed a stunning century at the iconic Lord’s stadium, had a tough time dealing with the England crowd on Day 3. Yes, in an uncalled-for incident, the England crowd threw bottle corks near Indian batsman KL Rahul.

This Is How Virat Kohli Reacted After England Crowd Attacked KL Rahul With Bottle Corks

The incident took place during the 69th over of the England innings when Rahul complained about the England crowd throwing something at him. At that time, KL Rahul was standing at the third man boundary when this incident took place. He soon complained about this to the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, who was standing at the slips.

Virat didn’t seem pleased with the actions of the England crowd and was seen signaling Rahul to throw the bottle corks back at the crowd. The video of the same has been going crazily viral on social media.

After the internet, social media was flooded with the images of bottle corks – a lot of them – close to KL Rahul. Though the object wasn’t harmful, such actions go against the spirit of the game. The Indian cricket team chose not to drag the incident by complaining about it to the officials and carried on with normal proceedings.

However, the incident obviously didn’t go down well with the fans, who started slamming the England crowd for their bad behavior.

Here, check out some of the reactions on this:
