The 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant has been receiving praises from across the world after his heroics at the Gabba has impressed one and all.
Chasing the target of 328 runs, Rishabh Pant walked out to bat for team India during a difficult time with India’s score reading 167/3. However, the Southpaw soaked in all the pressure and showed a lot of maturity in his innings. He made sure to remain unbeaten till the end of the game as he guided team India with three wickets to spare.

Rishabh scored an unbeaten 89 off 138 balls. His knock was laced with 9 fours and a stunning six. Later, after India won the series, Pant was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’ for his match-winning knock.
Following his heroics at the Gabba, social media went into a frenzy. Several cricketers from around the world took to their social media and hailed the brilliance of Pant.
Among many, former South African captain AB de Villiers also took to his Twitter and congratulated team India for their historic win at the Gabba. AB de Villiers also heaped praises on the young wicketkeeper-batsman for his powerful performance that helped India script history on Tuesday. AB wrote:

Rishabh Pant was quick to notice the tweet and come up with an amazing reply to it. Rishabh Pant wrote a heartfelt reply to AB de Villiers and claimed that he is always learning from the best (referring to AB de Villiers).
Pant also said that he will see him at the upcoming edition of IPL 2021. Interestingly, both Pant and AB de Villiers don #17 on their jerseys. Pant wrote:

Meanwhile, Pant’s heroics at the Gabba has earned him a place in the Indian squad for the first two tests against England, which will kickstart on February 5 in Chennai.
