The second T20I of the recently concluded 3-match series between India and South Africa at Cuttack, turned out to be a sad day in Indian cricket’s history as some angry fans threw bottles in the ground, after India failed to put up a good show with the bat. Hundreds of plastic bottles were thrown in the ground by a section of the crowd in Cuttack, and this led to a 30-minute stoppage in the game. The authorities had to vacate the stands before restarting the game. This foolish act was criticised by one and all in the cricket world. Former Indian captain and a well known cricket commentator even said that Cuttack should be banned from hosting any of the matches during the ICC T20 World Cup 2016.
