VIDEO – Jonny Bairstow’s Reaction To Indian Crowd’s ‘Bazball Gets Battered’ Song Has Gone Viral

England’s middle-order batter Johnny Bairstow didn’t look in a great mood as he was seen engaging in heated altercations twice during the fifth Test match between India and England, which took place at Dharamsala. While Bairstow’s verbal exchange with Indian youngster Shubman Gill went crazily viral on the internet, on the other hand, another incident went largely unnoticed.

Notably, the Indian cricket team defeated England with an innings and 64-run defeat at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium on Saturday, March 9. England started the just-concluded 5-match Test series with an impressive 28-run victory in Hyderabad, however, the Indian players outperformed Bazball and registered a 4-1 win in the 5-match series.

Jonny Bairstow, who was playing his 100th Test, showcased some classy shots but couldn’t make significant contributions to England’s innings. He scored 29 runs off 18 balls and 39 off 31 before getting dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav each time in both innings. He ended the series with 238 runs from 10 innings at an average of 23.8. He failed to register a half-century, with his highest score being 39.

India established a commanding lead of 259 runs in the first innings, powered by centuries from Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, along with notable contributions from Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, and Devdutt Padikkal. Ravichandran Ashwin’s five-wicket haul, coupled with Kuldeep Yadav’s two wickets, restricted England to a mere 195 runs on Day 3. This series loss marks England’s first under the Bazball era and the first time they’ve suffered four consecutive Test defeats under Ben Stokes’s captaincy.
