Lucknow Super Giants fast bowler Mayank Yadav put in another serious performance to help LSG defend a total. This time, he tore into the famed RCB batting line-up.
The 21-year-old fast bowler from Delhi who made headlines on his debut for his high pace took three wickets for only 14 runs against RCB at the Chinnaswamy stadium and breached the 156 KPH speed marker on the speed gun.
The most memorable delivery from Mayank Yadav on this night came against Cameron Green, who he bowled with a sensational ball.
Yadav sent a thunderbolt at 146 KPH toward Green outside the off-stump. The ball seamed in a bit to come in line and hit the top of the off-stump. Green was late on his shot, and even he could only play a defensive shot, barely having any idea about the line of the all. Green quickly saw the lights go up on the stump and the bails flying.
This was a very Test match esque delivery from Mayank Yadav.

He also dismissed Glenn Maxwell and Rajat Patidar with short balls, hurrying them for pace. Fans want Mayank to be fast-tracked into Team India’s plans for the T20 World Cup, given his high pace and good control over lines and lengths.

LSG won the match by 28 runs, bowling RCB out for 153 while defending 181, which was setup by Quinton de Kock’s 81 and Nicholas Pooran’s 40.
