In what is set to be the last IPL season for MS Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings franchise and their fans would want their revered Thala to bow out from IPL 2023 with another IPL trophy to his name and add it to the CSK’s trophy cabinet that already has 4 IPL titles and 2 Champions league titles.
MS Dhoni and some of the local CSK players have already hit the nets and begun their training at their fortress: MA Chidambaram Stadium, or Chepauk, in Chennai, ahead of the IPL 2023. CSK will kick-start the IPL 2023 in the season opener on March 31 against the defending champions Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad.
CSK finished 9th in IPL 2022 which saw MS Dhoni take the captaincy back from Ravindra Jadeja
Along with the 41-year-old captain MS Dhoni, senior batsman Ajinkya Rahane, who was bought in the auction, and opener Ruturaj Gaikwad, have had a couple of sessions in the Chepauk nets. Dhoni, in particular, looked in a fearsome mood as he clattered the spinners into the stands.
In the latest video that’s gone viral on social media, MS Dhoni can be seen rolling his arms and bowling. It is well-known that Dhoni has a special love for bowling and often during his India career as well bowled in the nets.
In the video, the CSK skipper can be seen bowling some handy off-spin, giving the left-handed batsman practice to face a match-up which the opposition can use during the game.

A couple of days ago, MS Dhoni was smashing some local bowlers for gigantic sixes during a net session; he skipped down the pitch and launched the bowlers down the ground.
