VIDEO: Sourav Ganguly Batting Right-Handed Against South Africa

Unnati MadanBy Unnati Madan09/08/2015Updated:08/02/2023No Comments1 Min Read

Sourav Ganguly was born a right-hander. He writes, eats, and as we know, bowls with his right-hand. He was a right-handed batsman, too, in his early days. His brother Snehashish was, however, a left-hander, and Sourav wanted to use his gear. Exactly why he did this is unknown, since the Gangulys are one of the richest families of Calcutta, but the choice made him the leading run-scorer among all left-handed Indian Test batsmen.

What if Sourav Ganguly was a right-handed batsman? The King of Cricket Videos on Youtue, robelinda, made a video in which Sourav Ganguly is seen batting right-handed and smashing South African bowlers all around the park. This fun video by Rob Moody will  leave with a smile on your face if you are a Sourav Ganguly fan!

Disclaimer: Sourav Ganguly never batted right-handed in his international career. This video was edited by Rob Moody, just for fun.
