India’s stylish Ravindra Jadeja is known for his left-arm spin. In the last couple of years or so, Ravindra Jadeja has cemented his place in India’s Test team as second best spinner and formed a brilliant partnership with India’s ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Jadeja’s biggest strength is his accuracy and he has troubled some of the best in the world including the likes of Hashim Amla, Alastair Cook and others.
In the first innings of the ongoing third Test between India and England, Jadeja came out to bat at a tricky situation and formed a brilliant partnership with Ravichandran Ashwin. Jadeja is an attacking batsman but he adjusted his game according to the situation. At the time of writing this post, Jadeja was batting on 71 runs off 143 balls and looking set for his first Test hundred.
After reaching his fifty on Day 3, Ravindra Jadeja celebrated in his trademark “sword fighting” way and once again pointing towards his teammates in the dressing room. Watch it here:
