Usman Khawaja also made a hundred in the Ahmedabad Test, much like Virat Kohli.
With a triple-digit score for India in the first innings of the Ahmedabad Test, talismanic Indian batsman Virat Kohli finally got the Test hundred off his back. Even though the game was a draw, Kohli’s brilliant 186-run innings made the Indian team and its supporters feel accomplished. Usman Khawaja, an Australian batsman who also got a century during the game, and wicket-keeper Alex Carey were the recipients of Kohli’s amazing gesture after the game.
Khawaja and Carey received shirts from Kohli in a video that the Indian Cricket Team posted on Instagram. Fans were genuinely touched by the gesture. This is the clip:

In the fourth and final drawn game, Kohli endured a torturous wait of more than three years to score his 28th Test century. Kohli’s innings helped India finish with 571 in response to Australia’s 480.
“The expectations that I have for myself as a player are more important to me,” Kohli told the official broadcasters after being adjudged Player of the Match.
“I am not in a space now where I will go out and prove someone wrong. I also need to justify why I am there on the field,” Kohli, who now has 75 international centuries, said.
