Delhi Capitals’ Jemimah Rodrigues made a funny revelation about the YouTube history of her teammate Radha Yadav.
After DC’s 25-run win against the Gujarat Giants in match number 10 of the WPL 2024 season in Bangalore, the young star had a fun video conversation with spinner Radha Yadav. In it, Jemimah revealed that she found out Radha had been watching aggression videos of Virat Kohli!
Virat Kohli is well-renowned for his ultra-aggressive celebrations often when his bowlers take a wicket, especially a big wicket of one of the opposition’s key batters. Although he’s toned down his century celebrations significantly, Kohli continues to celebrate animatedly the dismissals and boosts the morale of his bowlers, even when he is not the captain.
In a video for the WPL broadcasters, Jemimah Rodrigues said, I want to share an interesting story: “I was playing music on Radha’s phone on YouTube and you know what was there in its history ‘Virat Kohli aggression videos’. She watches ‘Virat Kohli aggression videos’ before every match!”

23-year-old Radha Yadav said that Virat Kohli is her idol and that she wants to remain pumped up during the games.
“Absolutely, you need to be a bit pumped up. He’s my idol. I like to watch him before the matches and the passion he plays with. I could relate a lot with him so that’s why,” Radha said.
Rodrigues quipped sweetly, “Virat bhaiya ka bhi ashirwad sada aap par rahe (Hope Virat brother’s blessings always be on your side).”
Talking about the Delhi vs Gujarat match, captain Meg Lanning scored 55 runs and took her side to a total of 163. Gujarat had lost their first three games and lost this one too as DC’s total of 163 proved 25 runs too much than what they could manage. Australian spinner Jess Jonassen picked 3/22 and Radha returned with 3/20.
Radha said: “I think that’s what I have changed – trying to be calmer. I am very aggressive, as everyone knows. Because of that I used to lose my rhythm and it used to get difficult to understand what was happening around me. I have started to remain calmer, smile a bit more. I have learned a lot from Jemi (smiles).”
Delhi and Mumbai now both have 6 points in 4 games each.
