Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma attended the Indian Sports Honours and walked the red carpet together. Kohli and his wife were all smiles as they engaged in a lighthearted dance off to the tune of Naatu Naatu.

The massively popular chart-topping song from the movie RRR recently became the first song from an Indian production to win the Academy Award or Oscar for Best Original Song, making history for Indian cinema. Since then, the song and its accompanying dance moves have spread across the country, and everyone can’t stop moving to the beat. Even Indian cricket superstar Kohli has caught the “Naatu Naatu” bug, as he was recently spotted dancing along to the song.

At the Indian Sports Honours, Kohli and his wife, the famous Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, stole the show on the red carpet. They were given a spin-the-wheel opportunity on the red carpet. When he spun the wheel, the ball landed in the Naatu Naatu column, forcing the ex-Indian captain to perform a dance to the Oscar-winning song on the spot.

Anushka Sharma’s Reaction Is Pure Gold

An accomplished dancer in his own right, Former RCB Skipper confidently mimicked Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s moves to the tune of Naatu Naatu. Anushka, who was present, could be seen applauding her husband’s performance with a broad grin on her face.

He'll make opposition fielders dance to his tune when he plays for Bangalore in IPL 2023.

But for now catch @imVkohli doing his own dance! 🕺

He was spotted shaking it to ‘Naatu Naatu’ before. Kohli grooved to the song during the visitors’ batting at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai during the first ODI of the three-match series against Australia.

In the upcoming Indian Premier League season, Kohli will be playing for the RCB in an effort to bring home a championship for both himself and the team. On April 2, 2023, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB will play their first game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) against the Mumbai Indians.
