VIDEO: Virat Kohli Giving Catching Practice To Indian Slip Fielders:  Fielding is one of the basic and the most fundamental parameter for the players in the game of cricket. Cricketers are supposed to hit the fielding drills before the match such that the whole unit performs well on the field.

When one of the fielders messes up by dropping a catch, it adds a surreal amount of pressure on the team. This is precisely the reason why it is important to be sharp and active on the field.

At times, catches win you matches and the players need to be agile when the situation demands. Case in point, Team India made the headlines ahead of the Indore Test match after the players were seen sharpening their catching skills.

India sharpen their catching skills ahead of the third Test

Rohit Sharma and Co have done more than enough to retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy. They have also taken a 2-0 lead in the Border Gavaskar Trophy series and are just a victory away from winning the series.

It will be quite interesting to see how the hosts operate as a team in the third Test, in what will be a series decider. Ahead of the third Test match, Indian players were seen engaging in intense fielding drills.

The third Test will be held at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. Meanwhile, the players were seen improving their catching skills as part of the customary practice session.

The video clip begins with Virat Kohli holding the bat and seems to be giving catching practice to Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer at the slip. Gill and Iyer were seen taking a catch in one hand as Kohli gave an interesting reaction.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) uploaded the video clip on their Twitter panel. The video clip featuring Indian players engaging in the practice session has gone viral on the internet.
