Virat Kohli Hilariously Trolled “Maaro Mujhe Maaro” Pakistani Fan After India’s Win: Finally , an India-Pakistan game delivered on its hype as Hardik Pandya steered his side home in their Asia Cup 2022 opener in the run chase of 148 with 5 wickets and only 2 balls to spare in Dubai.
India extracted some of the revenge for their T20 World Cup 2021 loss at this very venue, where Babar Azam’s side won by 10 wickets, Pakistan’s first-ever victory over India in World Cup events.
Virat Kohli hilariously sledges Momin Saqib
After the match, former India skipper Virat Kohli met Momin Saqib, the famous Pakistani fan who had gone viral with his reactions to Pakistan’s loss against India in the 2019 World Cup.
Momin Saqib had then trolled and lamented Pakistani’s loss in Manchester with now-famous lines “Maaro mujhe maaro” and “Ekdum se waqt badal gaye, jazbaat badal gaye?” and “Kal raat yeh log pizza aur burger kha rahe”. Momin, who resides in UK, became an internet sensation with these lines and has now gained a massive following on social media.
He came to see Sunday’s clash in Dubai and was left disheartened with Pakistan’s loss.
After the game he met Kohli who straightaway hilariously sledged the actor wit the famous “pizzay” line.
As soon as the conversation began, speaking in Punjabi, Kohli said, “Pizzay khanday rahe ho raati (ate pizzas all night)!”
Momin congratulated Kohli on winning the game. He then said, “Aaj thoda sad hainge lekin koi ni final katthe khedange (I am a little today but no worries, we’ll play final together).” To which Kohli replied, “Yeh ta chalda rehnda, good to see you (These things happen, good to see you).”
Both shared a hug before parting ways.
Momin uploaded the video on his social media channels. “A great sportsman and a humble personality. The one and only @imVkohli Good to see him back in form! What a game tonight! Shall see you in the Final!”

Virat Kohli showed signs of return to form vs Pakistan
Speaking of Virat Kohli, playing after more than a month-long break, Kohli was scratchy at the start of his innings, and could have been dismissed for a two-ball duck after he edged the fiery Naseem Shah to second slip, but was dropped by Fakhar Zaman.
Kohli then freed his arms to hit three fours and a six before slowing down to spinners after the powerplay. He was dismissed for 35 runs off 34 balls.
India were rescued by the Jadeja-Pandya partnership of 52 runs in 29 balls. Pandya remained unbeaten on 33 runs off 17 balls, finishing off the chase with a maximum in the last over.
Both India and Pakistan will face Hong Kong on Wednesday and Friday respectively. For Pakistan it will be a do or die encounter to proceed to the Super 4. Likely to do so, India and Pakistan will meet again, and could also clash a third time – in the Final.
