Virat Kohli has left for London after the end of the ODI series vs Sri Lanka. Team India have ample amount of break before their next series against Bangladesh in home soil. So, Kohli has used this time to spend time with his family who are in London now. Even after the end of the T20 World Cup 2024, Kohli went to London to spend time with his family before arriving for the ODI series vs Sri Lanka.

Few days ago reports emerged that the Virat Kohli family is deciding to permanently settle in London. Kohli has often expressed his desire to spend time with his family and wander in the streets like a normal person. He does not get to do so in India as he is a celebrity figure. So, he is planning to settle with his family permanently in London after the end of his career.
The Indian batters had a really tough time in playing the crafty Sri Lankan spinners during the ODI series against Sri Lanka. The batters failed to adjust to the slow and turning wickets and were trapped in every game. They had a dismal batting performance which is quite a humiliation for them. However, it is not just one series. Team India have struggled to get going on turning tracks in both ODIs and Tests.
It is not often that Kohli has a bad series in ODIs given the dominance that he has shown in this format for the last 10 years. He has the most number of centuries in the history of ODI cricket and has been highly consistent. However, this series reflected a problem of Kohli yet again after what he has been suffering from the last few years: his ability to play against spinners.
