The Indian cricket team is gearing up for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship Final 2023 against Australia at the Oval in London. While the team has been preparing diligently, batting maestro Virat Kohli has caught all the limelight as he was seen spreading joy with his amusing gesture during practice sessions.
Virat Kohli Was Seen Mimicking James Anderson

Virat Kohli, who is known for his flamboyant attitude, was seen mimicking Jimmy Anderson’s celebration after taking a wicket, leaving everyone in splits. Sharing the video of the same, the ICC wrote: ‘A little bit of fun in the India camp ahead of the #WTC23 Final.’

Virat Kohli and James Anderson have had a history. They have long had a go at each other, with Anderson even calling King Kohli a ‘flat track bully’. It will be interesting to see both the cricketers resuming their on-field rivalry in the upcoming summit clash.
Meanwhile, Kohli will be one of the key players for team India heading into the WTC Final against the Australians at the Oval. Kohli has a fantastic record against Australia in Tests. In the 24 games he has played against the Australians, Kohli has amassed 1979 runs at an average of 48.26. Kohli has scored 8 centuries against Australia as well.
The 34-year-old batter endured a rough patch in Test cricket as he hadn’t scored a century for more than three years. He would look forward to moving past the disappointing Border-Gavaskar trophy early this year, where he was seen struggling to score runs.
However, he has found his lost form and he is now entering the WTC Final on the back of a fantastic IPL 2023 campaign, where he amassed 639 runs for RCB in 14 games.
