Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer came up with a hilarious reaction after the indefinite suspension of Ollie Robinson from international cricket.

For the unversed, Ollie Robinson, who recently made his debut for the England cricket team, has been suspended from all forms of international cricket until the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) completes its investigation into his 8-year-old Tweet that went viral on social media.

The 8-year-old racist and sexist tweets surfaced on social media only after a day he made his debut for England against New Zealand. Ever since then, social media has been flooded with mixed reactions on the matter.

Meanwhile, India’s test specialist Ravichandran Ashwin also took to his Twitter and shared his opinion on the matter. In his tweet, Ashwin expressed how he can understand the reaction Ollie is facing for a thing he did years ago, however, he also feels sorry for him as he got suspended after an impressive start to his Test career. He wrote:

“I can understand the negative sentiments towards what #OllieRobinson did years ago, but I do feel genuinely sorry for him being suspended after an impressive start to his test career. This suspension is a strong indication of what the future holds in this social media Gen.”
