Wasim Jaffer has sent a hidden message to the Indian batsmen for the upcoming World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand in Southampton, which will kickstart from June 18.




Virat Kohli-led Indian cricket team will take on Kane Williamson-led New Zealand in the much-awaited final of WTC at the Rose Bowl in Southampton. The Indian batsmen will be up against a solid bowling line-up consisting of the likes of Tim Southee, Kyle Jamieson, and Trent Boult among others. Unfortunately, the conditions in Southampton are also expected to favor the pacers.

Now, with a fierce battle ahead of the Indian cricket team, Wasim Jaffer has a piece of advice for the Indian batsmen. In his latest video on Youtube, Wasim Jaffer has sent a coded message for the Indian batsmen and has advised them to take inspiration from the police in old Bollywood movies and do what they are famous for. He said:




“I have been on tours to England twice with the Indian team. My coded message for the Indian batsmen is – Do what our police is famous for doing in old Bollywood movies. Use that while batting in the final,”

Soon the video went viral and fans flooded the comments section. There were many who were able to decode the hidden message of Jaffer and claimed it refers to the police always arriving late in the old movies. Thus, as per Jaffer’s hidden message, Jaffer wants the Indian batsmen to play late against the New Zealand pacers if the conditions assist seam and movement.
