As Pakistan fought back strongly in the ongoing Boxing Day Test against Australia, pacer Hasan Ali had some fun with the MCG crowd, showing off his dance moves and getting the Aussie supporters in it too.

On Day 3, Pakistan finally had, for the first time in this series, the Australian team and their fans worried when in their second innings, they stuttered to 16/4 after having taken a lead of only 54 runs after the first innings of both teams.

Towards the end of the day, though, as Steve Smith and Mitchell Marsh steadied the Aussie ship, Hasan Ali found a few seconds of spotlight to share with the MCG crowd, entertaining them with his stretching movements and Punjabi dance moves.

Standing near the boundary line, Hasan Ali did some stretches. Realizing that the MCG crowd was imitating him, Hasan started hopping on either side like dancing. The commentators burst into laughter. Hasan then got a huge round of applause from the crowd behind him.

Meanwhile, Day 3 at the MCG was a thoroughly gripping day of Test cricket and the match is poised nicely. Australia took the remaining 4 wickets of Pakistan for 70 runs. But just before Lunch, Australia had a poor start losing Khawaja and Labuschagne in only three overs. It became a disastrous start when they lost David Warner and Travis Head in consecutive balls to Mir Hamza.

Mitchell Marsh

Australia could have been 16/5 if Abdullah Shafique had taken Marsh’s catch in the slip. That hurt Pakistan a lot as Marsh went on to score 96 runs. Steve Smith also raised a gritty half-century but got out on the last ball of the day.

Australia have a lead of 241 runs and have 4 wickets in hand. Pakistan have a historic chance to record a Test win in Australia this century.
