Watch: Ishan Kishan Gets A Funny Marriage Advice From Amitabh Bachchan In KBC

India men’s wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan and India women’s opener and vice-captain, Smriti Mandhana, made a special guest appearance on a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), which is the Indian version of ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’. This show, airing on Sony channel, is hosted by the legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.

The trio of Ishan Kishan, Smriti Mandhana, and Amitabh Bachchan had a lot of fun during the episode and cracked funny jokes. One of the conversations happened about Amitabh Bachchan’s movies, which turned into a bit of cheeky marriage advice from Bachchan to young Ishan Kishan.

For a change in the show, Kishan asked a question to Amitabh Bachchan. Naming four of Big B’s movies – Khuda Gawah, Sarkaar, Don, and Shehanshah – Kishan asked Bachchan what prefix he would like to put in front of his wife Jaya Bachchan’s name.

The audience and Amitabh Bachchan burst into laughter before he answered that not only he, but any man in the world would put only the ‘Sarkar’ prefix for their wife.

Ishan Kishan thanked Bachchan for his cheeky yet experienced-laden marriage advice.

The conversation went as follows:

Amitabh Bachchan said: “Undoubtedly, the title will be ‘Sarkaar’. And to all the men here, who are married, they will add the same title to their wife’s name. Right? Well, a wife manages the home so you must bow down to her. That’s it. She’s the Sarkaar.”

Ishan replied: “I am glad to get this advice from you.”

Bachchan concluded, “Oh, yes.”

Meanwhile, Kishan has returned home from South Africa after pulling out from the Test series due to “personal reasons”. It was then learned through a source that Kishan, who has been traveling a lot this year, asked the management and BCCI for a break due to “mental fatigue“.

Ishan Kishan

“He informed the team management that he is having mental fatigue and wants a break from cricket for some time. Everyone agreed to it,” the report in the Indian Express said.
