Prasidh Krishna Dismissed Shreyas Iyer After Getting Tips From Virat Kohli: The Indian cricket team is currently locking its horns against Leicester in the ongoing warm-up match where they are gearing up hard for the lone Test match against England, which is all set to take place on July 1.

Virat Kohli Gives Valuable Tips To Prasidh Krishna

The practice game between India and Leicestershire features senior players including the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Shreyas Iyer. Interestingly, four Indian players are also playing for Leicestershire in order to get more game time.

Prasidh Krishna, who is currently playing for the hosts, was seen discussing with his opponent Virat Kohli along with Shreyas Iyer. Virat appeared to give Prasidh some tips before the latter was about to bowl to Shreyas Iyer.

Followed by this, Shreyas Iyer poked one at a delivery that was slightly wide of off-stump to guide the bowl to the wicketkeeper, Rishabh Pant. As a result, the Indian batter had to walk back to the pavilion without troubling the scorers. The video of the same has been going viral on the internet, watch it here:

Scenes At The Warm-Up Game

The Leicestershire bowling was spearheaded by Roman Walker, who picked up five wickets in his 11 overs, including the key wickets of Rohit, Hanuma Vihari, Kohli, and Jadeja. On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah went wicketless in his nine overs, while conceding 34 runs.

Chasing the total, Leicestershire got off to a slow start as captain Sam Evans was dismissed for 1 by Shami, and Cheteshwar Pujara, at number three, was also dismissed for a six-ball duck. Opener Louis Kimber went back to the pavilion after scoring a valuable 31 off 39 balls before getting caught behind Mohammad Siraj’s delivery in the 14th over.

At the end of the day, Leicestershire scored 101 runs for the loss of four wickets. Pacer Umesh Yadav bowled eight overs and went on to concede

24 runs. Indian all-rounders Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja bowled five overs and one over respectively but they also went wicketless. Rishabh Pant and Rishi Patel have added 30 runs for the fifth wicket and they will resume the game tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team will lock its horns against the leftover fifth Test from last year’s tour, which is scheduled to be played in Edgbaston on July 1.
