Indian captain Rohit Sharma, who is known for his calm personality, displayed his animated side as he showed his utter frustration with the Indian bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar during the second T20I match against Windies on Friday, February 18 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Rohit Sharma was utterly disappointed with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who dropped a catch off his own bowling during the match last night that the Indian side won by 8 runs.
Well, Windies batter Rovman Powell played a stunning knock of an unbeaten 68 runs off 36 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes. He almost brought his side to the brink of victory however his knock went in vain as he couldn’t cross the line.
But earlier Powell was gifted a lifeline by Indian bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar when the Windies batter was on 47 runs.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar came to bowl the 16th over of the match and the incident took place on the fifth ball. when Bhuvi banged the delivery short and outside of. Powell went for a pull shot and top-edged it straight into the air. The ball was coming straight on the hands of Bhuvi, who dropped the catch reverse cupped.
However, what left everyone shocked was the reaction of Rohit Sharma. Known for his cool and calm nature, Rohit Sharma kicked the ball in frustration and the batter stole another run. Following this, Rohit was baffled with Rishabh Pant for not collecting the ball.
