RCB legend Virat Kohli showed off his dance moves in front of the fans at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium on Monday night after producing another masterclass in a run-chase against Punjab Kings.
In the chase of 177, Kohli, who had managed only 21 runs in the first match of the season against CSK, blasted 77 runs in 49 balls with the help of 11 fours and 2 sixes. He started off like a bullet train with four fours in the first over – the first one of which was an outside edge that was spilt by Jonny Bairstow – and total 8 fours in the first four overs. He clobbered a couple of sixes after the powerplay.
After Kohli’s innings, RCB needed a strong finish from Dinesh Karthik and Mahipal Lomror – the pair added 48* (18) – to take RCB home with four balls to spare.
Virat Kohli bagged his 17th Player of the Match award in the IPL, equalling the tally of CSK legend MS Dhoni.

Before the IPL, Kohli had been on a two-month break to be with his wife Anushka Sharma in London as she delivered their second child, a son whom the couple named Akaay.
The RCB and India star said he was grateful to get some time away from cricket and to be with his family.
“We were not in the country. We were at a place where people were not recognising us. Just time together as a family, just to feel normal for two months,” Kohli said. “For me, for us as a family, it was a surreal experience.
“Of course, having two kids, things become totally different from a family perspective. So just the ability to be together, the connections that you make with your older child, it’s amazing. I mean, I couldn’t have been more grateful to God for the opportunity that I got to spend time with my family.”
