Yuvraj Singh Called-Out Virat Kohli And Gautam Gambhir After Their On-Field Spat

Days after former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir and Indian batting maestro Virat Kohli reignited their age-old rivalry with the on-field altercation in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, legendary all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has issued an interesting message for both the batting stalwarts.

Kohli and Gambhir were involved in an ugly spat after Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants in match No.42 of the IPL 2023 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on Monday. They had to be separated by players and officials of both teams.

For the unversed, Gauti and Cheeku are nicknames of Gambhir and Kohli respectively.

Meanwhile, both Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were fined 100% of match fees after their ugly face-off in the IPL 2023. Both Gambhir and Kohli were fined 100 percent of their match fees for breaching Article 2.21 of the IPL code of conduct.

Kohli’s on-field altercation with Gambhir started after LSG bowler Naveen-ul-Haq had a blunt exchange with the former RCB captain during the 17th over of the game. After RCB won the game, when Kyle Mayers came to have a word with Kohli, Gambhir pulled Mayers away and later indulged in a verbal spat himself with Kohli.
