‘Definitely Not!’: These two words broke the internet today as a flood of happiness went over the fans of MS Dhoni after he cleared the speculations about his retirement from IPL.

Chennai Super Kings endured their worst ever season in IPL 2020 as they became the first team to get disqualified from the ongoing season. Well, MS has been under the scanner of critics because of his poor form in the ongoing league. Dhoni was also seen struggling with his form throughout the season. All this led to speculations and debates that Dhoni might be playing his last season this time.

However, ahead of their last match of IPL 2020, MSD cleared the air and confirmed that he will be back again next year.

After the toss, when Dhoni was asked whether the game against KXIP could be his last game in the yellow. MSD said: “Definitely not”.

Earlier, CSK’s CEO Viswanathan also confirmed that Mahi will lead CSK in the next edition as well. Talking to TOI, Viswanathan confirmed: “Yes, definitely. I am very confident that Dhoni will lead CSK in 2021. He has won three titles for us in the IPL. This is the first year we have not qualified for the playoffs. No other team has done that. One bad year does not mean we will have to change everything,”
