IND vs AUS | India tour’s of Australia 2020-21 | Schedule and Squads

IND vs AUS Series announced: The much-awaited India’s tour of Australia is all set to begin from 27th November 2020, Cricket Australia confirmed on Wednesday. The Australian Cricket Board has released the complete schedule of the tour, which comprises of 3 T20s, 3 ODIs and 4 Tests.

India’s tour of Australia is set to kickstart from 27th November 2020. India will travel directly to Australia after the completion of Indian Premier League. Upon reaching, Virat Kohli and Co. are obliged to follow a mandatory 14-day quarantine period.

The tour will begin with 3 ODIs, starting from 27th November. The first two ODIs will be played at Sydney Cricket Ground on 27th November and 29th November. Virat Kohli and Boys will then travel to Canberra to play the final ODI on 2nd December 2020.

This will be followed by the 3-match T20 series. The first game will be played in Manuka Oval in Canberra on 4th December 2020, after which the teams will return to Sydney to play the second and third ODI, scheduled to be held on 6th December and 8th December respectively.

The much-awaited Border Gavaskar series will begin with a day-night Test to be held in Adelaide on December 17. It will also mark the first-ever day-night Test between India and Australia. Previously, India has played a solitary day-night against Bangladesh at Eden Gardens, while Australia has experience of playing 4 day-night Tests so far. Both teams are yet to lose a game with the pink ball.

This will be followed by Boxing Day Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground, starting on 26th December 2020. If reports are to be believed, the crowd will be entertained to witness the clash. However, how big the crowd will be is yet to ascertain.

Sydney Cricket Ground will host the third Test between the two teams, starting from 7th January, while the fourth Test will be played at Gabba, Brisbane.
