Ravi Ashwin’s Wife’s Heart-Winning Gesture
Well, the incident took place during a game between Mumbai Indians and Ravi Ashwin, that took place on 30th April. It has to be noted that Rohit Sharma was celebrating his 35th birthday and he was expected to play big innings for his team, however, the cricketer had failed to make it big with the bat.
As he was celebrating his birthday, the expectations of Rohit’s fans were at an all-time high when he walked out to bat against Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals. However, he was dismissed after scoring only 2 runs by Rajasthan Royals’ senior bowler Ravi Ashwin.
Rohit Sharma looked disappointed and visibly upset as he was walking back to the pavilion. After his dismissal, Rohit’s wife Ritika, who was present at the stadium, was also captured on the camera and she looked visibly devastated.
However, in one of the most heartwarming moments, after Rohit’s dismissal as Ashwin’s wife Prithi Narayan rushed to Ritika Sajdeh and hugged her tight.
