Premier League Reacts To Siraj’s Recreation Of Ronaldo’s ‘Si’ Celebration

Premier League Reacts To Siraj’s Recreation Of Ronaldo’s ‘Si’ Celebration: The Indian cricket team is currently locking its horns with South Africa in the ongoing Boxing Day Test at Supersport Park in Centurion.

After suffering a lower-order collapse on Day 3 of the ongoing match, the pace attack of the Indian cricket team comprising of bowlers including Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Mohammed Siraj, bounced back as they spit venom with the ball on the Centurion pitch. The trio was all over the South African top order.

It was Jasprit Bumrah, who before twisting his ankle, provided the visitors with the much-needed breakthrough by removing Proteas skipper Dean Elgar in the very first over of the innings. After the lunch, Mohammed Shami got the ball moving as he skittled out the set betters Keegan Peterson and Aiden Markram and disturbed the stumps of the duo.

Well, not just this, Mohammed Siraj joined the act as he got the better of Rassie van der Dussen in the third session and the hosts were reduced to 32/4. However, what caught everyone’s attention was the follow-up celebration by Mohammed Siraj after he dismissed Rassie van der Dussen.

As soon as Ajinkya Rahane picked the catch, Siraj jumped and performed the famous ‘siiii’ celebration (also called as siu), which is the trademark celebration style of star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. The video of Siraj’s celebration has been going viral on social media.

Here, check out the video:

For the unversed, in Spanish, ‘SI’ means ‘yes’. Christiano Ronaldo after making a goal jumps and lands and yells ‘SI’ as on most occasions the crowd also joins him in delight. Siraj’s celebration in the same fashion caught the attention of football fans on social media. In fact, Premier League India reacted to the recreation by Siraj as well.

The ???????? celebration has reached the @BCCI camp in South Africa ?.”
