Jason Gillespie Slams Pakistan Cricket Fans For Trolling Imam-Ul-Haq

Pakistan’s Imam-Ul-Haq was the prime target on fans who trolled him after his poor show in the day-night Test match against Australia. Imam replaced Haris Sohail in the second match of the ongoing series, at the Gabba but failed to make any kind of impact on the game. He struggled against Australia’s quality bowling attack and looked completely clueless in the middle.

This gave Pakistan cricket fans to have a go at Imam-Ul-Haq and a big section of the fans trolled him for scoring just 2 runs in 2 innings, after replacing Haris Sohail. Check out some of the tweets, here:

However, former Australian cricketer and a very well reputed cricket analyst, Jason Gillespie stood for Imam Ul Haq. On his Twitter account, he wrote:

“Incorrect- the game was over. Players on a losing side are disappointed no doubt. I thought it was fantastic that young Imam Ul-Haq was spending time with Justin Langer talking about the game. I’m sure the conversation was very worthwhile for both Imam and Justin (Langer).”

We agree with Jason Gillespie because at the end of the day cricket is a gentleman’s game and there is nothing wrong in having a lighter conversation with the opposition coach. But, having said this, we also understand the emotional outburst of the Pakistan fans after a crushing and demoralizing defeat.
