Rohit Sharma  is undoubtedly the best opening batsman in the world across all three formats of the game. Popularly known as “Hitman”, Rohit Sharma is the only batsman in the history of the sport to have scored three double centuries in ODIs.

On the other hand, he also holds the record of scoring the most centuries in Twenty20 Internationals. Rohit Sharma has slammed as many as four centuries in the truncated version of the game and is the only cricketer to do so.

Moreover, he is known for his ability to hit sixes like a hot knife through butter. Not long ago, he overtook MS Dhoni to become the leading six-hitter for India in international cricket. Rohit Sharma has scored 3320 runs in Tests at an average of 46.76 including nine centuries and 14 fifties to his name.

On the other side of the coin, he scored 9782 runs at an average of 48.91 including 30 centuries and 48 fifties to his name. As far as his T20I record is concerned, he scored 3853 runs at an average of 31.32 including 4 centuries and 29 fifties.
